As we draw closer to the 2018 Luncheon, I would like to share with you the inspiring story of Pam Warren. Pam is a personal inspiration to me and may others who have met her or know her story. It takes real courage and guts to start again when life hits you, and she did.
Pam Warren turned a disaster into the most positive thing to ever happen to her. Her story will inspire audiences and show them how, they too, can overcome apparently insurmountable challenges.
In October 1999, Pam’s life as a financial advisor was torn apart when she was critically injured in the Paddington Rail Crash. Pam’s injuries were so severe that she wasn’t expected to pull through. Not only did she pull through, she became the public face of the disaster – ‘the lady in the mask’ championing the cause of rail safety. Since then Pam has gone on to become a highly acclaimed International Public Speaker.
Pam provides a simple message of keeping things in perspective while thinking smarter, bigger, and going beyond what’s expected. Pam offers audiences not just inspiration but actual strategies to employ to overcome challenges.
Her 5-star acclaimed auto-biography, From Behind the Mask, was published in 2014 and sales continue to grow as more readers seek to know the background to her resilience, courage, and perseverance.
Woman of the Year Frink Award 2001, Unison Bob Cotton Award 2001, Sue Ryder Women of Achievement Award 2015.
Most recently Pam has starred in an episode of the BBC1’s new programme: “Going Back Giving Back” and CBS Reality programme: “The Day I Should Have Died”
We are all proud to have Pam Warren as the Key note Speaker for #undefeated 2018.
