Celebrating Thames Valley Craftsmanship - Menaani Culture

Our 2018 business exhibitors are all made in the Thames Valley and London, and in line with our 'undefeated' theme, our exhibitors are all women who have built their businesses from scratch with passion, love and hardwork.

We hope you enjoy learning more about them and their businesses.

Advice to budding entrepreneurs

Building a successful business can be a lifelong venture that takes some faith and a lot of hope, but most of all it requires hard work because nothing ever happens without putting in time and effort. Here are some few things to know too; I never want to slow down. I have many aspirations and there are lots of things I still want to achieve AND Most of all I NEVER GIVE UP.

You are good enough, there is no need to pretend to be someone else. It’s easy to follow the herd and give in to peer pressure and demand for conformity. But being true to yourself is perhaps the greatest gift you can give to yourself. Authenticity always shines through, Be yourself in all interaction.

Surround yourself with people who understand your passion and can help you navigate through some challenges that come with starting a Business.

Don’t ignore the power of advice from expert business owners.

Lessons Learnt

Getting myself up and opening myself to learning and not allowing criticism to break me but make me. Pick myself up and move on from mistakes.

Every mistake is an opportunity to move forward and aim for the Top.
