For Girls In Agege, A Chance To Dream Big.

The Sister Sister Network is delighted to have partnered with OGAV Foundation to mobilise and empower 1000 girls in Lagos, Nigeria.

Founded in 2013, the foundation runs with the mission to develop independent and responsible girls through character building, mentorship and knowledge acquisition.

Organised with the support of the Lagos State government, the four weeks camp held within the month of July and August at the Government College, Agege, where the girls were tutored on various skills ranging from leadership, etiquette, entrepreneurship and the discovery of career paths.

Aduke Onafowokan, founder of The Sister Sister Network says of the partnership :

‘This partnership resonates with me so deeply as I reflect my own childhood experiences, this feels like a big, warm reassuring hug to teenage girls in the inner city, we see you, we believe in you and we are rooting for your success’.

Thank you OGAV Foundation for such awesome work.
